Justin focuses on individual therapy for overlapping issues including anxiety, relationships, substance use, recovery, divorce, online use, anger, negative cycles, stress, relocation, and related to underlying trauma.

While meeting your therapeutic goals, you can expect:

What is your professional training?

Justin Bagan possesses extensive formal training from an addictions agency in conducting individual CBT and group sessions. Justin holds a master’s degree in Counselling Psychology. He continues to meet RCC and CCC continuing education, training, and ethical standards in his private practice.

How much do sessions cost?

A 50-minute individual session costs $150. Payment is required in advance of the appointment. Sliding scale is available.

How about insurance requirements?

Justin provides detailed invoices and receipts for reimbursement. RCC and CCC certified clinical counsellors are typically included in workplace, private, and extended coverage for counselling. Justin Bagan is open to direct billing and working with your insurance company.

What approach do you use?

Justin Bagan’s approach is based in cognitive behavioural therapy (CBT) and informed by Taoist and Buddhist philosophy. Mindfulness, solution focused therapy, and other modalities are used depending on the unique needs of the individual. Justin helps clients develop skills to engage with overlapping challenges.

Justin grew up in Winnipeg and has lived all over Canada. He has worked abroad in the U.S. and South Korea. He enjoys working out, travelling, films, sports, making songs and meditation.
